Heres where we are and where I was. My 40 pieces are moving along nicely. Watercolour is to me basic painting. I’m allways looking for good mistakes and watercolour is a perfect way of finding mistakes and transforming them into technique. I like the term reposatories. The pieces of paper are reposatories of action. Most of them have failed during the years but a few have wound upp framed. The pieces of paper often wind upp so saturated you no longer see the effort just dried upp muddy water. Sometimes I manage to bring something down from the top of my head though.
