The first drawing done with my numerator. Technically this is probably a monotype but the way I do it is so close to my freehand drawing I will just call them drawings. A saturation of 1820 numbers printed on topp of each other.

Last Saturday I oppened the first installment of an exhibition at Ekspedisjonen Sortland. A perfect location for a restaurant and a allright place to hang my drawings.

If you’re ever in Sortland, Vesterålen this is a great place to go right by the pier overlooking Sortlandsundet. The food is excellent thanks to the head chef. High standards and a relaxed atmosphere with people of all ages.

The exhibition is a changing one. I’ve started off with small drawings in my typicall frames and will be gradually building a collection of new work towards summer. I’m focusing on playfull work that suits the environment at Ekspedisjonen.

Some new frames white as snow after the last sanding. I need my frames to be heavy and white. Anything less than 5 cm deep just looks odd to me. I see them as pieces of furniture. Three dimensional containers for small pieces of paper.
