Well. Two red lines. Limits in a way. Two limiting red lines.

I’m starting a new category here at hopplahey. Its about this painting I’m starting these days. Hopefully it will be painted mostly outdoors on my outdoor easel. Here it is, the cotton canvas stretched on a approx 105×160 frame. Initially I had this painiting planned based on a drawing. But I changed my mind and will be saving the work with Apollon for later opting for a party with Dionysus instead. I will be posting the progress here and at www.cskagen.no taking pictures whenever something catches my eye. A great oppurtunity for you unpainterly people out there to see what you don’t have to do.

A new painting. The title is Norwegian and is difficult to translate. It means something like allot of life going on.

This is where I’m at with the painting chamber. This version has windows for light but not for looking in or out. Designed for two paintings. I’m not shure if this will be the first one to be made since my work these days is focused on drawing. So it might be a drawing chamber with a different facade.
