This is the project for next year. The painting chamber. The drawing shows the basic way I want to construct it. It’s dimensions will be 3×3x3 meters and it will contain two paintings approx. 2.40 by 2.40. It’s a frame for the paintings or rather a compact building for them making the concept independent of institutions.

Not exactly a fingerpainting but I used my fingers with a brush.

Ah, the landscape format. I’ve been avoiding it. Why? Theres something passive about it. My work is existencial which makes it to do about the persona therefore the portrait format. But not anymore. I’m leaning towards pictures about nothing at all other than the colours and the odd line which makes it difficult to give them good titles without beeing pretentious.

I’m doing these watercolours these days. That is I have been doing them for years but I’m always trying to start afresh. It’s my main thing really. Watching coloured water dry upp. Leaving a remnant.

Looking at the unpretentious. Something happens when I’m not thinking about it. A good thing I think when I recollect what I was not doing when I did it.
